Hampton Tiered Midi Dress
Our Hampton tiered midi dress brings movement and dimension to your wardrobe with cascading tiers that fall just below the knee. We designed this silhouette with a fitted bodice and relaxed skirt to balance structure with flow.

Fabric & fit details

Fabric & drape
We chose a lightweight polyester crepe de chine for the Hampton because it holds its shape through the tiers without adding bulk. The fabric has a matte finish and just enough body to prevent clinging.

Sizing & fit notes
The bodice runs true to size through the bust, and the smocked back panel adds about two inches of stretch. If you’re between sizes or prefer a looser fit through the ribs, we recommend sizing up.

Hampton tiered midi dress questions
The bodice is fully lined so it’s not sheer at all. The skirt is unlined, but the crepe fabric is opaque enough that you won’t need a slip unless you’re wearing very light colors in bright sunlight. Most customers wear it without an additional layer underneath.
The spaghetti straps and low back work best with a strapless bra or adhesive cups. Some customers with smaller busts skip the bra entirely since the smocked back panel and lined bodice provide light support. If you need more structure, we recommend a convertible bra with clear straps.
Measure your bust at the fullest part and compare it to our size chart. The bodice runs true to size, and the smocked back adds flexibility. If you’re between sizes or prefer a looser fit, size up. The adjustable straps let you fine-tune the length and waistline placement once it arrives.
The polyester crepe resists wrinkles better than natural fibers like cotton or linen. If you fold it for travel, hang it in the bathroom while you shower and the steam will release any creases. You can also roll it instead of folding to minimize lines.
The Hampton has three tiers and spaghetti straps with a smocked back, while the Sienna features cascading ruffles and a wrap-style bodice. The Hampton is more structured through the bodice, and the Sienna has a softer, more romantic silhouette. Both hit at midi length but the tier construction differs.
We recommend hang-drying to preserve the fabric texture and prevent shrinkage. The crepe de chine can tolerate low heat in the dryer for a few minutes if you’re in a rush, but air-drying keeps the garment looking newer longer. The polyester fiber dries quickly on its own.
The straps have adjustable sliders with O-ring hardware that lock into place once you set them. Most customers find they stay put throughout the day. If you have narrow or sloped shoulders, tighten the straps slightly shorter than you think you need — that extra tension keeps them from sliding.
