We built the Madeline Miniskirt from a densely woven cotton-blend twill that holds a crisp line without feeling stiff. The fabric composition — 65% cotton, 33% polyester, 2% elastane — gives you the best of both worlds: natural breathability and just enough stretch to move with you through the day. The twill weave creates subtle texture and resists wrinkling better than lightweight poplin.

The waistband is structured and sits at the natural waist, while the A-line cut through the hips offers more room than our pencil-skirt styles. Most customers find the fit consistent with their typical WAYF bottom size.
We recommend dry cleaning to preserve the twill’s structure and the waistband’s grippy tape. Machine washing can cause the fabric to lose its crisp drape and may damage the interior finishing. If you need a refresh between wears, steaming works well. The care card included with your order has detailed cleaning instructions.
The hem falls approximately 16 inches from the natural waist on a size Small, adding half an inch per size up. For most customers, this hits mid-thigh. If you’re between 5’2″ and 5’8″, expect a classic mini length. Taller frames may find it slightly shorter, while petite heights may see it closer to above-knee coverage.
